Prairie Hosts Girls & Boys Post-Season Basketball Games. Bowling & Wrestling State Information
Congratulations to the Prairie High School Girls Basketball team for winning the MVC Conference Championship this season.
Come out and cheer them on this Saturday, February 22nd at 7 pm at Prairie High School as they face Waterloo West on their road to state. Tickets are $8 plus processing fees and should be purchased in advance on Bound. Student IDs and Activity passes are not accepted to this state sanctioned event.
If Prairie girls basketball wins on Saturday 2/22, they will host the final regional game before state on Tuesday, February 25th at 7pm.
Congratulations to the Prairie Boys Basketball Team for winning the MVC Championship this season.
Mark your calendars for the Boys Basketball Substate game on February 28th at 7 pm at Prairie High School. Prairie Boys Basketball will face either Bettendorf or Dubuque Hempstead. You can see the full substate bracket here. Tickets are $6 and are available on Hometown Ticketing
Prairie Bowling Qualifies for State
Members of the Prairie Girls Bowling team .Kylie Cook, Allie Clark, and Melanie Buresh earned a spot in the state bowling tournament with their performances at the qualifying tournament held earlier this week. T
The Prairie Boys Bowling team qualified for State bowling as well as individual qualifiers Peyton Guyer and Tharen Garringer. The state tournament takes place at Cadillac XBC in Waterloo on Tuesday, February 25th and 26th. Tickets for state can be purchased on Bound.
Prairie Wrestling to State
The high school state boys wrestling tournament is currently underway at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
Prairie is represented by six competitors; Chase Watkinson, Dylan Munson, Teagan Kendall, Louden Bloxham, Conner Bistricky, and Romeo Klein.

Prairie Girls State Wrestling Champion & State Qualifiers
Mackenzie Childers was the State Champion at the Girls Wrestling State Tournament held on February 5th & 6th. Junior, Luisa Meade finished 5th. Other state qualifiers included: Elizabeth Burns (10), Marie Burns (10), Claire Hynek (12), Addison Bowman (11), Aliya Phillips (12) and Emelia Reyes (10).
